About C.R.E.F.A

C.R.E.F.A. stands for the Centre Régional d’Entraînement et de Formation à l’Aviron (regional centre for rowing training and instruction). Founded in 1992 in the community of Montauroux, France, its purpose is to:

  • promote the Olympic sport of rowing in all forms and at all levels
  • participate in organising sports events
  • manage and maintain the rowing base of Lake St Cassien

A unique setting

C.R.E.F.A.’s development was greatly furthered when a rowing base was made available by the municipality of Montauroux, located in the heart of the French Riviera.
